Fall..

It's fall time!! The weather is perfect! Well, in between the spurts of rain and the thick air that follows. It's the south, gotta love it!
I took some pictures for the CA 2010 year book yesterday and this is one of my favorite candid shots. I love the colors of the leaves and the cable knit sweater Aiden was wearing was perfect for the whole fall-ish setting! The whole day was a ton of fun and he's one funny little guy!!



I've got 26 more days as a free and independent person.
Then it's off to another phase in my life.
Once again, I'm leaving.
Story of my life!
But God knows what He's doing so I try not to question =)

Courtney & Daniel got married!

Took me a little while but I'm finally posting a few from Courtney and Daniel's wedding! It was beautiful and so in tune with the love these two share! They've been together for quite some time and there's a beautiful future in store for them!!

So, Sunday after lunch, I was leaving Loca Luna and noticed how much I liked the alley behind it. I called Courtney and asked if she would want to come take some pictures and she agreed! So here are the results of our random afternoon fun!

I can't believe Lisa is married! It was a beautiful, fun and very sweet wedding and I'm so glad I got to experience it with them! More are coming!

Courtney & Daniel are getting married!

Congrats to this fun couple! I have know Courtney since we were born and I'm so happy for her and Daniel! They've been dating for 4 years and in September they'll be getting married. They are made for each other and these pictures are proof of their chemistry!

I've been taking an extended vacation an haven't had time to post anything, but here are a few of the shots from the photo shoot I had with Kellie before I left. It was the quickest shoot ever! ha! But we made it work.. Kellie (and her twin, Kattie) are beautiful girls so it was easy to get gorgeous shots of her, even on a limited time schedule! Hope you're having fun in Florida girl! We'll miss ya! =)

Just extend your hand to Me..

The source of my inspiration for this post comes from my favorite track on the new IBC cd, "Changing Times". But all of you Gateway folks, just know I still love ya ;)

There's this lovely lady I met a couple of weeks ago that goes to IBC named Farrah Easter and she wrote and sings the most awesome and powerful song, "I Extend Mercy" and it is one of those that gets to me in a way most songs don't. And yes, it is currently on repeat. Ha.

So many times I forget that God is always right there. Literally, walking with me everyday. And while this is common knowledge for a child of God, I don't think I fully utilize the power He offers. All I have to do is extend my hand to Him and he'll fill the space in between.
God is always there showing mercy, grace, peace, love, joy, etc., but most of the time I don't give Him the opportunity to bless or move.
It blows my mind.
Whenever the devil thinks he's going to get me and beat me over the head for something I've done, I let him.
But here is the God of all glory, extending his many blessings and his amazing and beautiful love and mercy, but I won't even open the door for Him to move.

Okay, I'm done. Now, everybody, go buy "Changing Times"!

..only because it has been ages

I'm only posting this because 1) it has been ions since my last post and 2) because I am avoiding the enormous task of cleaning my house. I have washed and folded and hung up clothes for nearly three hours now and I have made absolutely no progress.
Is this normal?
Are my clothes reproducing while I'm not looking?
I need to have this checked out.
I've been on the road a lot lately so I've managed to let my house work pile up to the point that it is inevitable. It has to be done.
I have three more weeks until I get to go see my family.
Thank you Jesus! It has been way too long. I honestly don't think I've ever gone this long without even seeing them..
I went on a little shopping spree and came out with some new things including, but not limited to, my new favorite glasses. Not many people will be thrilled to see me in them. [See picture below for further explanation.]
But does that stop me? Of course not. I love em =)
